JISC Winter Fayre Programme

The focus of the day will be in an area we’re calling the ‘Marketplace’, where the Services will set out their stalls with demonstrations of the resources and advice that’s available. You can also visit the Stump to listen to speakers give short presentations on key technologies (we'll be adding details of each presentation shortly). Come along to see if they get your vote.

The event is being hosted at Edinburgh's National e-Science Centre, located in the heart of the capital, easily accessible by all forms of transport.

Running throughout the day will be a series of taster workshops, 18 in all, covering topics such as:

• Google Wave
• EduApps – the power in your pocket!
• Podcasting in 30 minutes
• Voting through Twitter
• Blogs & Wikis 101

It’s a great way of testing out the waters to see if anything we have on offer will be of interest to you, without spending a whole day on it. The complete list of workshops will be detailed in the programme below shortly, please check back here in a few days.
