"I've been working on a Higher English Survival Guide - to be used by Higher candidates who are either panicking or who have left it too late to revise."

"I applied to join the Map2Learn project because I'm already involved in online delivery (creative writing) and I love the whole idea. I've also been looking at the web possibilities of core skill communication. I am NOT skilled in web software or development. I have FrontPage and Dreamweaver on my pc and they're still waiting for me to have enough time to learn to use them properly. However, I have managed pretty well up to now between Smartgroups, Word and PowerPoint.

I was immediately drawn to the idea of any project which focussed on a practicable method of delivering online, without taking huge acres of time learning technical skills. It was also a great opportunity to have some real human beings to talk to about such developments. Everything I've done so far has felt isolated and difficult. Learning to use MindManager has been marvellous. I think the whole concept of a mindmap which can immediately be exported either to a PowerPoint presentation or DIY website is amazing. So far, it all even seems to WORK! I can hardly believe it. If I had time, I would do nothing else but play with this all week.

I've been working on a Higher English Survival Guide - to be used by Higher candidates who are either panicking or who have left it too late to revise. This will be useful to me - it includes lots of stand-alone materials - and I think it will come in handy to others (both students and tutors.) I like the idea of giving learners material they can get on with on their own. There's still plenty which involves tutor involvement".
