To demonstrate the application of key techniques in the construction a learning sequence, an innovative sequence has been created by Alan Muirden of RSC Scotland North & East. At each stage of the construction – planning, integrating text, images and multimedia – expert guidance from the TechDis team on improving accessibility will be included and the sequence will be adjusted.

Jamie Andrew the incredible Scottish mountaineer (above) will open the Accessibility e-Olympics in Edinburgh's e-Science Institute on the 21st to 22nd March. The event will have a practical focus on the nuts and bolts of making online learning accessible. With specialised input from TechDis and the BRITE initiative, delegates will be introduced to developing e-learning resources designed to be truly accessible.
As the event is supported by the Scottish Further Education Funding Council's eMerge Programme the RSC is committed to sharing the good ideas that flowed from the event. Please bookmark this site and see how it develops over the forthcoming weeks as a thought-provoking collection of exemplars and good practice.
