When using this site, you will find a number of features that will help you to find the information you are looking for:
The site is designed to ensure ease of use, particularly when navigating. The navigation list on the left hand side is a static menu and will appear on each page of the site. This will allow you to access other sections of the site by simply selecting the link you require from the left hand menu.
There are also 7 tabs or menu links at the top of each page which comprise of the Home page, About the RSC, News, Events, Services, Contact US and Site Map. These links provide more general information about the RSC Scotland North and East.
A main feature of the site is the ability for uses to set their own visual preferences. The Visual Preferences link is on the right hand side of the RSC logo, directly underneath the ‘Search’ box.
This will take you to the Visual Preferences section where you can choose between ‘High Contrast’ which provides a plain white background with black large text, ‘High Visibility’ which offers a black background with large yellow and white text.
The default setting on the site is ‘Normal Contrast’.
If you are using an audio browser or screen reading software and don't wish to have the navigation read out to you on any page, we have included a 'skip to content' link as one of the first entries on the page. If you select this link you will be taken straight to the page heading, and then the page content.
When you want to return to the home page, you can click on the Home Link (at the top of the navigation on every page).
Each option in the navigation list on the left has a hint, to explain the content found in that section or page. To see the hint, move your mouse over the option and wait for a couple of seconds. The hint will appear.
If you prefer the font size on the RSC Scotland North and East pages to be larger or smaller, you can control this using your browser settings.
